LISA Ann Walter has been crowned the winner of Celebrity Jeopardy! - but not before the show faced an interruption.

ABC News shared a breaking news update about the New Hampshire primary in the middle of the Celebrity Jeopardy! finale, and fans were not happy.

"Absolutely f***ing losing my mind as ABC interrupts Celebrity Jeopardy to tell me that Donald Trump won the New Hampshire primary NOBODY CARES WE ALL KNEW THAT," a raging fan slammed on X, formerly known a Twitter.

"ABC, Trump winning NH primary? Nobody cares! Let me enjoy Celebrity Jeopardy in peace," another viewer vented.

After the interruption, Lisa Ann Walter won $1 million for the Entertainment Community Fund after getting the Final Jeopardy! answer right and beating out Katie Nolan and Mo Rocca.

In addition to the Abbott Elementary star's win, Mo won $250,000 for theInner-City Scholarship Fund, and Katie got $100,000 for theAssociation for Women in Sports Media.

    New Celebrity Jeopardy! champion revealed

    Lisa Ann Walter won Celebrity Jeopardy! after being the only contestant to get the Final Jeopardy question right during last night's Season 2 finale.

    On top of getting a red question mark trophy, Lisa Ann's $1 million prize is going to theEntertainment Community Fund.

    Mo Rocca won $250,000 for theInner-City Scholarship Fund, while Katie Nolan got $100,000 for theAssociation for Women in Sports Media.

    Recap of last night’s finale, continued

    After Double Jeopardy!, Katie led with $8,100, while Mo and Lisa Ann were right behind at $7,400 and $6,000

    HostKen Jenningsremarked: "The scores couldn't be closer!"

    In Triple Jeopardy!, Lisa Ann put away a Daily Double on the very first clue, and then Katie added $3000 on the penultimate one, pulling ahead.

    That's when Mo found the last Daily Double and decided to "just do it all," as Lisa Ann exclaimed, "Wow."

    Scores going into Final Jeopardy saw Mo at $21,100, Katie right behind at $19,500, and Lisa Ann in last place at $13,800.

    However, Lisa had never missed a Final Jeopardy before the finale, and this proved no different.

    Recap of last night's finale

    Celebrity Jeopardy!saw CBS Sunday Morning's Mo Rocca, Abbott Elementary'sLisa Ann Walter, and sports commentator Katie Nolan fight to the bitter end.

    After theJeopardy!round, Mo led with $2,600, Lisa Ann had $2,200, and Katie held $1,900.

    In Double Jeopardy!, each contestant got a cheeky category dedicated to them - "Lisa, Ann or Walter," "Mo Rocca Drinks Vodka With Chewbacca," and "Kinda Rhymes With Katie," respectively.

    The witty titles impressed fans on social media: "Whoever came up with these categories should've gotten a raise by now!"

    Season 3 hasn't been announced

    ABC hasn't announced whether or not there will be a third season of Celebrity Jeopardy! but it'll likely return sometime later this year.

    What else to know about Ken Jennings

    Ken Jennings also holds the record for the highest average number of correct responses per game in Jeopardy! history.

    He was finally defeated during his 75th appearance in the series, earning nearly $5million in winnings.

    Prior to his guest hosting role, Jennings returned to the franchise in 2020 on Jeopardy! The Greatest of All Time, where he won againstBrad RutterandJames Holzhauer.

    Before his game show days, Jennings worked as a software engineer.

    Jennings is married to Mindy and they havetwo children, Dylan and Caitlin Jennings.

    Ken Wayne Jennings III, is aJeopardy!champion and thehighest-earning player in the show’s history.

    He was born on May 23, 1974, in Edmonds,Washington, a suburb of Seattle.

    His father was a lawyer employed overseas, and Jennings spent 15 years growing up inSouth KoreaandSingapore.

    Having returned to the US, Jennings initially attended the University of Washington but later transferred to Brigham Young University in 1996 where he met his future wife,Mindy Boam.

    Host spoke about Triple Jeopardy

    Ken Jennings continued to talk about the Celebrity Jeopardy! finale format to Hollywood Life.

    "The thing about these three-round games is we have Triple Jeopardy, we have six Daily Doubles total, which means that nobody has ever run away with it," he said.

    About an hour afterMayim Bialikannounced that she wasfired, the show confirmed the news on the official Jeopardy! Instagram page.

    “We have made the decision to have one host for the syndicated show next season to maintain continuity for our viewers.

    They went on to say that Ken, 49, will be the sole host of the show.

    Ken Jennings' fellow former Jeopardy! championBuzzy Cohenhas stepped in to help host new episodes for the 2024 tournament season.

    Buzzy, 38, took charge of the “play-in games” that determined the final slots inSeason 39 Champions Wildcard.
